DEMEILLIERS Christine
As a university professor, I work in the field of toxicology and environmental health. I am responsible for a Master's degree programme in Environmental Health, Toxicology and Ecotoxicology. I lead a research team called ‘Environment and Prevention in Population Health’ at the TIMC laboratory, UMR 5525. This team brings together environmental health professionals (pharmacists, doctors, scientists and even veterinarians) to focus on the chemical exposome, particularly the detection, assessment, understanding and modelling of occupational and environmental health risks in order to optimise prevention and reduce the incidence of associated diseases. The multidisciplinary nature of the team members also allows us to integrate ‘One Health’ issues into our work. Personally, I am particularly interested in sustainable food issues. I also carry out expert activities within ANSES and work as a toxicologist in the Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Laboratory at Grenoble Alpes University Hospital.
